Item is good though material is thin but provides support and is comfortable to wear. Make sure you buy one size up than your actual size, because it may not cover adequately. I am XL but purchased XXL so fits well with enough strap coverage. There is no difference I can tell between Right and Left, both appear to be same. Would recommend this for daily use for light support needs like wearing in the house but would consider something more firm for a outdoor activity like climbing or hiking.
